Incorrect Uses

The examples below apply to all wordmarks and graphical elements throughout the institition.

DO NOT change the font or add type to the wordmark.

DO NOT stretch or distort the wordmark.

DO NOT change position of any elements of the wordmark.

UConn wordmark and words University of Connecticut are not in the correct placement - DO NOT CHANGE THE PLACEMENT OF THE ELEMENTS IN THE WORDMARK

DO NOT alter the color of any part of the wordmark.

UConn wordmark in blue and University of Connecticut in red. DO NOT CHANGE COLORS.

DO NOT use the wordmark on a distracting background.

Examples of do nots: the oak leaf as green and the seal as red

DO NOT overlap the official seal with other elements.

Example of do not: overlapping a pink circle over the university seal

DO NOT enclose or frame the seal in a shape or area.

Example of do not: university seal enclosed into a green square

DO NOT manipulate or distort proportions.

Examples of do nots: oak leaf is distorted as being compressed, the seal is distorted by being stretched

DO NOT knock out the seal.

Example of do not: white university seal.
