Husky Pride Logos

For those in the University community seeking more options to show their Husky pride, we offer “Husky Pride” and “Students Today, Huskies Forever” logos. Graphic renderings of the Jonathan the Husky mascot and the illustrated silhouette of our beloved Jonathan statue provide options that are distinctive from current retail and athletic team uses.

The Husky Pride logos are meant to be used as created, with no editing or alterations.

These logos may be used as accent marks on promotional products, apparel, or signage. All uses must be approved by the Office of Brand Partnerships and Trademark Management at licensing@uconn.edu; once approved the office will provide you with the appropriate version and files for your needs.

  • The Husky Dog may not be removed from any Husky Pride logo and used on its own.
  • Husky Pride logos can be used in full color, navy, black, or with knocked-out text.
  • If the product using the Husky Pride logo is for a group or club fundraiser, a UConn-licensed vendor of collegiate products must be used.
  • If the product using the Husky Pride logo is for an event, only approved sponsors of the UConn Division of Athletics may appear in words or logo on the product. If the event has non-Division of Athletics sponsors, the product may not use the Husky Pride logo.
  • You may use Husky Pride logos as part of your email signature, but University Communications does not recommend images as part of any email signature as they are rendered as attachments.

For more information on use of the Husky Pride logos or information on UConn-licensed vendors of collegiate products, please contact Kyle Muncy at kyle.muncy@uconn.edu

Jonathan the Husky Mascot

This artistic take on Jonathan is exclusive to the University community and may be used to show Husky Pride and excitement. Consider incorporating Jonathan the Husky Mascot in public spaces, on t-shirt giveaways for orientation, or senior send-offs, among others. Departmental giveaways should still utilize the Husky Pride logos.

All uses must be approved by the Office of Brand Partnerships and Trademark Management; once approved, the office will provide you with the appropriate version and files for your needs.

UConn Nation is the sense of belonging among people connected to the University of Connecticut. It is, in essence, the “nationality” of students, alumni, donors, faculty, staff, legislators, residents, and fans of the state’s flagship university. It is a status not tied to a specific geographic location, but rather to a community of people. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to connect in cultivating support for UConn Nation.

The UConn Nation logo can be modified and used on outreach materials. The official University brand standards still apply, however, so groups may not create a lockup with the UConn Nation artwork and the UConn logo. Contact University Communications for more information.

Inclusive Pride Badges

UConn’s school colors are blue and white, but Huskies comprise the full spectrum of diversity, and we created these Inclusive Pride Badges to show it. Contact University Communications for more information.
